Arctic® apple opens door to variety-specific juice

If you were to look at the apple juice section of your grocery store, you would find that many of the options are blends that include more than just apples, and many have artificial coloring. Even the 100% juice brands are made with a mish-mash of different apple varieties, and while there’s certainly nothing wrong with that, Arctic® apples can offer some exciting new product options!

Since Arctic® apples are nonbrowning, so is their juice (see picture – Arctic® Granny [left] and conventional Granny [right]). This means that the possibility exists of having variety-specific apple juices, each with their own unique flavor and color.

Most consumers have preferred apple varieties, and new products can help them enjoy more of their favorites. Imagine a Granny Smith apple juice that tastes like Granny Smith apples, and has a little bit of green tinge to it! Or what about an apple sauce that delivers true Golden Delicious-ness all the way through?
