Arctic® apples make for a fruitful fall

Fall is definitely a favorite season here at OSF because it’s apple harvest time of course! We’ve teamed up with Fruit & Veggies – More Matters for a Twitter Party October 4th at 4 pm EST. We’ll be discussing all your favorite fruits of the season, sharing some delicious recipes, and getting your ideas on how to make fall more fruitful! Plus, we have some great Arctic® apples prize packs to give away so make sure to join us for all the fun!

We’ll also be discussing Thanksgiving, which is just around the corner for our Canadian friends. Using apples in your favorite Thanksgiving recipes can give them a unique twist that all your friends and family will love.

Arctic® apples are perfect to use for baking and cooking because their unique nonbrowning trait means you can make recipes ahead of time. Apple pie is, of course, classic alternative to pumpkin pie (or if you’re like me you’ll eat a slice of both). But apples can be used for far more than just dessert. Adding apples to your stuffing may not be something you have thought of before, but trust me it will become a new tradition! And if you haven’t tried our Red, White and Blue Salad before it’s the perfect way to add some extra fruit to your Thanksgiving feast. Here’s to a fruitful fall!
