Cheers to the holidays!

The holiday season is such a wonderful time of year! Nothing gets my family in the holiday spirit quicker than enjoying some fun outdoor winter activities together. I love to go skiing or sneaking in a quick workout on the snowshoes after a fresh snowfall. My little guy could spend hours and hours playing hockey on a frozen pond, while my daughter loves to fly down a hill as fast as she can on a toboggan. We usually finish off with a good old-fashioned snowball fight!

After a long day of winter fun, there’s no better way to warm up than donning an ugly Christmas sweater and inviting friends and family over to enjoy some holiday cheer. I’m looking forward to trying some new cocktail recipes from our Pinterest board with my guests over the winter break – and garnishing them all with Arctic® apples, of course!

Christmas Sangria: Sparkling apple cider, white wine, and fresh fruit make this the perfect drink to pair with any holiday meal.

Slow Cooker Cranberry Apple Cider: This festive non-alcoholic refreshment will be ready for the whole family to enjoy when you get home from the ski hill.

Apple Pie on the Rocks: A new twist on dessert after a delicious turkey dinner feast.

Apple Cider Mimosa: Make that 4:30 am “Santa Came!” wake-up call more bearable!

All of us at Okanagan Specialty Fruits wish you a wonderful holiday season filled with warmth and good cheer!
