From Farm to Food: A Cookbook Journey

Want to take a seasonal journey that’s all about food? CropLife Canada’s new From Farm to Food cookbook offers an interesting glimpse into how crops make it from the farm to our kitchen tables. In addition to mouth-watering dishes created by dietitians, the cookbook also provides food for thought about plant science and its role on the farm.

“Farmers, just like professionals in almost every other industry, are embracing technology to make them more productive and more sustainable,” says Pierre Petelle, President and CEO of CropLife Canada. “And we as consumers get to enjoy the fruits of their labor.”

We couldn’t agree more. The premise of using biotechnology to develop our nonbrowning Arctic® apples is to reduce unnecessary food waste and we’re thrilled to be mentioned in the cookbook. There are some delicious apple recipes in From Farm to Food and we’re looking forward to trying them all. We hope you will too!
