National Fruit and Veggies Month: Are You Ready to Take the Pledge?

September is a busy month for many with school starting again and getting back into regular routines after summer holidays. Sometimes it’s hard to make healthy eating a priority when things get hectic and we need some extra motivation. Which is exactly why the timing of September being National Fruit and Veggies Month couldn’t be more perfect.

During the month of September take the Produce for Better Health’s Have a Plant Pledge to eat one more fruit or vegetable every day this month. It will help you feel great and reach the goal of eating at least five fruits and vegetables every day – fresh, frozen, canned, dried and 100% juice – to improve health and reduce chronic disease risk.

Throughout the month, the Produce for Better Health will also be holding some fun weekly social media contests. You’ll be able to snap some selfies with your favorite fruits and veggies for your chance to win a $150 Amazon gift card. You could buy a lot of Arctic ApBitz® dried apple snacks with that, just saying! We’re taking the pledge and hope you’ll join us.
